Virus Removal

If you are thinking 'I think I have a virus', we are here to help! It is sometimes possible to remove computer viruses without reinstalling Windows. This is the preferred option, as you don’t loose your personal settings or have to reinstall your programs. If your PC has been too badly infected, it may need Windows reinstalled. Please note: if we need to reinstall Windows, you will need to supply the Windows CD and licence key that came with your computer.  

If you have a number of computers connected in a network and you know you have a virus, disconnect the network cables to try and stop it spreading to other computers on the network.

Trojans are programs that run invisibly on your PC. In the worst case, they can give the Trojans' programmer access to your files through your Internet connection. Trojans can usually be removed without reinstalling Windows.
