Network Installation and Support Kingston and Richmond

If you have more than one computer in your office, you will increase productivity by connecting the computers together and creating a 'Network'. Networked computers can share files, information and even printers between them. We can install and configure an appropriate network solution for your business.

Network Problems Diagnosed - if you are experiencing network problems, we are only a phone call away, whether your problem is with a wired, or wireless network. Contact us to describe your problem.

Some example network solutions are listed below:

  • Cabled Network – the most common type of network used in business. The computers and server are connected in to a device called a network switch by a physical cable. With the appropriate configuration, the computers will be able to share files, printers and an Internet connection. To see an example of this type of network, please click this link.

  • Wide Area Network (WAN) – if your business has multiple offices, we can look at your requirements and recommend a method of connecting them. We can use a range of technologies from dedicated point-to-point Leased Lines, through to Virtual Private Networks (VPN's), or even a Wireless links.

Information can be shared between sites with ease and it is completely transparent to users. To see an example of an office to office network link, please click this link.

  • Wireless Network – offers the same function as a cabled network, but uses Wireless technology to connect the computers, where running cabling between them may not be an option. If you opt for a Wireless network, we will ensure the proper security measures are put in place to stop any one ‘listening in’ to your network.

  • Remote Access Solutions – if you want access to your office(s) from a remote location such as your home, or your laptop in a Wireless Internet Café, we can provide a solution for you using a remote VPN connection. Depending on your requirements, we can install the appropriate hardware or software in your home or on your laptop to give you access to the information you need on the move.
