Homeplug Networking

Homeplug networking is an exciting new way of creating a network using the existing power lines in your home. Simply plug in two or more 'Homeplug' network adapters in to power sockets throughout your home and the data is automatically converted in to transmissions running over the power line, creating a high speed network between rooms. Another benefit is that no drilling or cable pulling is required!

Each Homeplug network adapter has an RJ45 LAN socket built to allow connection of your Ethernet devices such as PC, games consoles, media centre etc. Connect one of the Homeplug networking adapters to an ADSL or 3G router to allow shared Internet access from any room with a Homeplug networking adapter installed.

With speeds up to 200Mbps, Homeplug networking rivals high speed wireless - but has the advantage that its' speed is not effected by thick walls or distant rooms. Security is taken are of by 128-bit AES encryption between adapters, using Network Membership Key to authenticate and Rotating Encryption Key for transmission encryption.

Simple Installation and Setup

Plug the BiPAC 2071 into a power socket and connect a network cable to the adapter.

Connect the BiPAC 2071 to a laptop, ADSL, 3G router or a games console.

To create a secure network, simply push off the network sync button.
