If you want to share resources between two computers such as music, pictures, scanner or a printer - we can install a small home network for you. The network can be wired (using network cable), or Wireless (no cables required).

If you have already installed wireless Broadband, you must ensure that wireless security is enabled on your wireless broadband router, or your neighbours could be accessing your Broadband free of charge. Worse still, they could have access to your personal data stored on your computer.

If you are concerned about your wireless security, we can put your mind at ease by visiting your home. For a small fee, we will check the configuration of your wireless router and enable the highest level of security available on the router, then re-configure your computers where necessary.

You may have heard of a computer term called 'Internet Connection Sharing.' This enables an Internet connection to be shared between multiple computers. For example, if you have a broadband ADSL modem plugged in to a computer in the study, you could give your children's computer access to the same Internet connection via a simple home network and Internet Connection Sharing.
