Digi Wi-Point 3G

Description

The Digi Wi-Point 3G router adds WiFi capabilities to their portfolio of robust 3G routers. The integrated 802.11b/g access point allows the 3G broadband connection to be shared via wireless and a single RJ45 Ethernet port for wired devices. The unit requires a PCMCIA card for 3G connectivity - a list of suitable cards is displayed further down this page.

The Digi Wi-Point 3G has a good 0°C to 55°C operating temperature range, an optional vehicle DC power supply and support for up to 8 IPSEC VPN tunnels, making it ideal for industrial applications including - POS, utilities, traffic, industrial automation, 3G CCTV surveillance, digital signage, public transport installations and more.

3G Network Compatibility

The Digi Wi-Point supports Sierra PCMCIA 3G data cards. Note: Please ignore the Option data cards listed on the Digi website and PDF specification. We have confirmed Option data cards are NOT supported through our own independent tests - we have reported the error to Digi. The Sierra data cards we supply are compatible with all UK 3G networks including Vodafone, 3 Mobile, T-Mobile, Orange and O2.

Please contact us if you want a SIM only 3G contract, or if your application requires static IP SIMs.
