Our 3G Router comparison
lists various connectivity options for your 3G Broadband
connection. Most 3G providers will ship a USB modem or 3G card with your tariff, but
in some cases you may want to buy a separate 3G Router to
share your 3G connection through a
WiFi access point. You will need to purchase a 3G Wireless Router like the
BiPAC 7800GZ depending on which type of 3G device you have.

The good news is our Mobile
Broadband routers are not locked to a specific network, so you can
change your 3G provider in the future safe in the knowledge that your
investment in hardware has not been wasted.
3G wireless can provide a solution where traditional broadband is not an option. If your office is too far from your local exchange, or you have been quoted a ridiculous amount of money to have a telephone line installed - 3G may be just the solution you are looking for.
If you are constantly fighting Red tape and IT Managers asking what your equipment does and why it has to be installed on 'their' network - 3G provides a means of accessing your equipment using a completely 'stand-alone' system, with no need for a connection on their corporate network. This can make project planning and sign-off a much simpler and more cost effective task.
You may be surprised at some of the applications for 3G wireless technology. If you have a project and are unsure if 3G will provide a reliable solution, please don't hesitate to contact us for practical, honest advice. We can help design 3G solutions using a combination of customised Airtime contracts, static IP's and a wide range of 3G hardware at our disposal, including a range of GSM Antenna.
Many people have preconceptions that 3G solutions are more costly than their ADSL broadband counterparts. In many cases this is simply not true. For example - you want to remotely manage some equipment at an unmanned site. The equipment (which could be a computer, PLC, digital sign, Bluetooth Server etc etc) is simply plugged in to a 3G router with appropriate port forwarding configured. Here are some of the advantages a 3G solution provide:
