Description

The Option GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA ExpressCard can be used worldwide with tri-band HSDPA / HSUPA / UMTS (2100/1900/850 MHz) and quad-band EDGE / GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) frequency support. Mobile Broadband download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps are supported out of the box with upload speeds of up to 2 Mbit, if supported by your 3G network.

The GlobeTrotter Express HSUPA is compatible with laptops sporting a ExpressCard/34 format. A separate ExpressCard to PCMCIA card converter is available for laptops without an ExpressCard slot. The card incorporates an external fold-out antenna, that helps to receive stronger network reception. Data rates are further boosted by Options' Advanced Receiver Technology (ART) that includes both Receive Diversity and Equalisation.

Please note Option have discontinued their range of PCMCIA and ExpressCard
data cards and replaced them with devices in 3G USB Modem form factor.
