Description

Tri-band HSDPA / HSUPA / UMTS (2100/1900/850 MHz) and quad-band EDGE / GPRS / GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) frequency support allows the Sierra Wireless AirCard 880E ExpressCard to be used worldwide. Fast Mobile Broadband download speeds up to 7.2 Mbps are supported with HSUPA upload speeds of 2 Mbps.

The AirCard 880E fit in to laptops with an ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot. A separate PCMCIA to ExpressCard converter is available for laptops without an ExpressCard slot. A high-performance diverse internal antenna design works with the Receive Equaliser built in to the Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset, to help maximise data throughput in all conditions.
